Hiker rescued after incident on Snowbird mountain
Salt Lake County — Saturday, a hiker was transported to the hospital Saturday after he tore his ACL on Snowbird mountain.
According to Det. Arlan Bennett with the Unified Police Department, the incident happened around 4 p.m.
LifeFlight and search and rescue crews were called out to the scene.
According to Bennett, after a few hours, the patient was taken off the mountain and transported to the hospital.
There was no additional information available about the incident.
