High school students encouraged to enter #WeBuildUtah video contest
Salt Lake City, Utah — A contest sponsored by the Associated General Contractors of Utah offers high school students the chance to win up to $1,500 for encouraging them to construct Utah’s future homes, businesses, or churches.
Contestants must submit a TikTok/Instagram-style video of no more than 60 seconds using the hashtag #WeBuildUtah. It was designed for kids who could be interested in a career in the construction business.
Videos can be submitted until November 1, 2022, at 5 p.m., and the competition will be judged on November 14th.
On November 14th, 2022, there will be judging, and the winning film will receive $1,500, followed by $1,000 for second place, $500 for third, and $1,000 for “judge’s choice.”
