Warning to Richfield residents caused by bear in tree
Richfield, Utah — After a wayward bear was spotted in a tree Monday, residents in Richfield got an early morning warning to stay away from parts of town.
“Yes, there is a bear in a tree here in town,” was the Richfield City Police the caption on their Facebook page.
Upon arrival at the scene near 100 East and 280 South, wildlife officials were able to put a tranquilizer dart in the bear and lower her down the tree.
Police say the bear will be relocated away from town.
