Worker killed by falling granite in Salt Lake business
Salt Lake City, Utah – On Saturday, a granite piece fell on a worker, killing him.
According to Salt Lake City police, an emergency call was made at 12:19 on Sunday. Saturday from 1998 N. Redwood Road; the address is listed as Creative Granite & Design, but the police have not verified the company’s existence.
A 54-year-old employee was reportedly crushed by a sizable piece of stone, however he did not survive the event, according to the call.
Other workers reportedly started trying to save lives right away but to no avail.
Police stated there was no other information available and requested that the man’s name not be made public.
