Logan street closed after water main break damages
Logan, Utah – After a water main break left the street in disrepair, a section of the road in Logan is closed Sunday.
The break happened in the area of 1400 North and Main Street during the early afternoon hours, according to Logan Police Assistant Chief Jeff Simmons.
Simmons says water was shooting across the street and into the mall parking lot at one point. The line has since been shut down and crews are making repairs.
According to Simmons, residents, and businesses east of Main Street at 1400 North will have their water service shut off until further notice.
He noted that road closures are also in place, both because of the water break and due to road repairs in the area.
At this time it’s unsure what caused the rupture.
