Utah Football’s Aaron Lowe killed in SLC shooting
Salt Lake City, Utah — A University of Utah football player is dead and an adult female is left with critical injuries after an overnight shooting.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning near 2200 South Broadmoor Street in Salt Lake City.
According to police, as of 8:30 a.m., the on-scene investigation has concluded and previous road closures during that investigation have been lifted.
Authorities said that there is no immediate risk to public safety, and no arrests have been made by now.
