987 new COVID-19 cases reported in Utah; no new deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health reported 987 new COVID-19 cases in the state Tuesday, but no new deaths.
931,732 Utahns have been tested for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
The state’s rolling seven-day average for positive tests currently stands at 1,182 per day, with a rolling seven-day average of 13.8% percent positive tests.
A total of 522 people have died of the disease.
