Tooele power outage left thousands without electricity
Tooele, Utah – On Monday, a power outage has left thousands without electricity in Tooele.
According to Rocky Mountain Power, over 1,300 residents are currently affected.
Around 9:18 a.m. Monday morning, crews were notified of the outage. Power should be restored before 6:30 p.m. today, but that could change, officials said.
According to officials, the wind was the cause of the power outage.
The cause of the outage is not yet known, but officials are currently investigating. Crews are currently working to restore power as soon as possible.
