Utah Coronavirus Cases Rise By Nearly 100, No New Deaths
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — No new deaths from the coronavirus were reported in the state of Utah as case totals rise to 2,303, according to numbers released by the Utah Department of Health.
As of numbers released Sunday around 12:30 p.m., 2,303 have tested positive for coronavirus, and 195 have been hospitalized.
A total of 44,234 people have been tested in the state. Just over 5 percent of people who have been tested have been confirmed to carry the virus.
The total case count is up 97 from Saturday, and there have been 5 more hospitalizations.
Salt Lake County has reported the most cases with 1,126 and 95 hospitalizations.
